Here’s what’s new… hope you enjoy!

Wedding | Karen and Tom

From the start I knew Karen was a very, very – did I say very? – organized and well-planned bride. She always had such inquisitive emails asking for advice or information down to the smallest detail. With that said, I was a little worried about her nerves the day of their wedding. We were battling with the threat of rain, and they had planned an outdoor wedding at the Medallion Club, so when the sky clouded over the club would start to move the ceremony setup indoors. I felt like I was in a Dr. Seuss story – from there to here, from here to there, the bride and groom are everywhere! I couldn’t believe it, even with the ceremony location moving more than once Karen was still just as calm as can be. I knew then that Tom is a lucky man! Aside from some clouds and the dire heat these two were troopers and the location was gorgeous with tons of awesome places to shoot. Congrats to you both we wish you the best! Engaged | Ali and Zack

Sunday I met up with Ali & Zack only a few hours after Zack finished a triathlon, in his best time ever might I add! I thought he would be completely dead, but as it turned out he was surprisingly enthusiastic. It must be the energy he gets from Ali. They are such a great couple; both compliment each other so well. We walked around Innis Woods Park just getting to know one another, and taking their photos of course. Although I hardly remember even having my camera because it was such a nice visit. I’m really looking forward to their big day; I know their wedding is going to be fantastic!

Wedding | Heather & Ross

What a wonderful couple! Heather and Ross were married Saturday at Cherry Valley Lodge and remained on the gorgeous property to celebrate their union. This has, by far, been my favorite wedding at this venue to date. Heather, Ross, and both their families were such a blast to photograph because they could have cared less if we were there—they just enjoyed each other so much, that the rest of the world didn’t seem to exist.

The whole day rang true to that theme, and it was all about Heather and Ross… it always is for a wedding of course, but these two took an hour and half break between their ceremony and reception, not to take a bunch of posed photos. I was grateful, it was therapeutic photography; probably more so for them but I was very appreciative of the extra time.

Congratulations, Heather and Ross! Thank you so much for letting us be there to capture some of your day.

7 Months | Brandon & Allyson

They grow up faster than we think, so much transpires during that first year – the last time we were with the twins they were able to raise their heads and chests and even smile at us. This session, three months later, Brandon & Allyson were already much bigger, but the largest change was seeing them sit up on their own and really interact not only with one another, but also with their older sister, too! the twins plus big sis, Makayla, really make a dynamic TRIO! Take a glimpse at just some of our favorites.

Danielle | Portrait Session

Spring is a season of new beginnings. It evokes thoughts of renewal and hope for a better future.

I met my friend, Danielle, in high school, and when she contacted me asking about a special solo portrait session to update her own photo gallery I was definitely excited!

Danielle said she is typically the person holding the camera at family events and rarely ends up in any of the pictures, so with her move back to Columbus, and some of her other new beginnings she decided she wanted to catch up with us and have a little fun in front of the camera for once. We felt it was appropriate to meet up at one of our local metro parks for our shoot since we had such sunny weather and it is the beginning of spring! Feast for your eyes on our favorites…
